Syracuse iSchool visits Fox News

By Krista Gambacorta on February 22nd, 2012

On Thursday February 16th, select students and faculty from Syracuse's iSchool visited Fox News as part as of their "Road Trip to NYC."  The group participated in info sessions, web demos and even a live chat with FNC Anchor Greta Van Susteren.  The digital minded students got an inside look at the inner workings of Fox News' digital properties and social media initiatives in an informal setting.

The visit concluded with a dynamic event in Fox News' Studio D where iSchool alum and Fox News employees networked with students and were treated to an engaging and fun speech by The Five Co-Host/ Red Eye Host Greg Gutfeld on his use of social media in television.

The event was a great opportunity for promising students to learn about digital career opportunities at the leader in cable news.
