Thousands Evacuated as Wildfires Continue in Arizona
Eleven days into fighting wildfires in Arizona, officials are hoping to contain the fire overnight before it spreads to local towns. Residents of Eager were asked to evacuate their homes on Tuesday. In Springerville, the fire came through to the southeastern side of the town, making residents worry. Michigan School Locked Down After Student Brings Grenade
A second grade student, who brought a grenade to school for show-and-tell, caused his local elementary school to go on temporary lock down. The Principal of Elliot Elementary school in Holt, Mich., Steve Netzel, called authorities after learning the student had a United States military grenade in the building. Michigan State Police bomb squad arrived and declared the World War II-era grenade to be inactive. Police Seize Computers in Search for Clues of Missing Student
Indiana police issued a search warrant for computers and hard drives in the apartment building missing Indiana University student Lauren Spierer lives. The computers and hard drives are said to contain surveillance footage, according to Bloomington Police. Spierer was reported missing last Friday.
