Actress Renée Zellweger made a rare public appearance at the 21st annual ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles Monday, and she’s stirring headlines for her new eye-popping appearance. PHOTOS: Renée Zellweger is Almost Unrecognizable These Days Once famous for her signature squint and permanently pursed pout, the 45-year-old actress looks, well, not like herself. “While many Hollywood stars show the tell-take signs of facelifts, Botox and fillers — wrinkle-free, hamster-cheeked and looking a couple of decades younger than their actual age — Zellweger simply looks like a completely different person,” reports The Telegraph, comparing her to a Frankenstein-esque composite of fellow Hollywood stars Robin Wright Penn mixed with “with a hint of Daryl Hannah and Cameron Diaz." You just can’t miss her (new) super wide eyes, line-free forehead, and significantly slimmer facial features. While some plastic surgeons are speculating Zellweger may have had a brow lift, she’s never openly admitted to plastic surgery. “I have a lifestyle that involves keeping my sanity by going to the gym,” said Zellweger late last year, adding she was on a low carbohydrate diet and strict exercise regimen involving swimming and running.
