VMAs 2014: Hits and misses
The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards was full of more style misses than hits.
Amber Rose: Miss
Rose's outfit was a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen. The new mom appeared to have left half of her look at home. She showed plenty of skin in her strange sliver chain bra-top with a matching silver thong underneath.
Katy Perry and Riff Raff: Throwback
The pop diva and rapper Riff Raff (L) spoofed Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake's 2001 VMA outfits. Although the denim look was a dud, we'll give it to the "Dark Horse" singer for her comedic effort.
Nina Dobrev: Hit
The "Vampire Diaries" star stood out for all the right reasons at the VMAs. Her slicked-back up-do gave her an effortless but glamorous look.
Miley Cyrus: Most improved
While Miley's poofy leather pants and bandage top are not hot, her look is a major improvement from her outfit at last year's VMAs.
Taylor Swift: Miss
Swift should shake off this onesie and slip into something else!
Jennifer Lopez: Hit
The singer lit up the red carpet in her silver sequined gown, showing off her famous curves in true JLo fashion.
Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Kyle Jenner: Miss, miss, miss
Between Kendall's (L) mom pants, Kim's (C) low cut poncho dress and Kylie's (R) way-too-big silk robe-like dress, these sisters need a new stylist pronto!
Beyonce: Just okay
Beyonce's lacy black gown highlighted the singer's shaply form but failed to do much else.
Once you look past Kesha's hair, her dress choice for the VMAs flattered her frame and was understated for the singer.
Chloe Grace Moretz: Miss
Is she on the wrong red carpet? 17-year-old Moretz's stuffy outfit looked like she was heading to a political event rather than the VMAs.
