MacDowell arrived at The 39th Annual Gracie Awards Tuesday in Beverly Hills wearing a curve-hugging plunging red satin gown. And while the event is meant to recognize outstanding programming for and by women in media, all eyes were on the '80s American darling and longtime L’Oreal spokeswoman. But what has been the secret to the brunette beauty’s ageless good looks? While she’s never openly admitted to going under the knife, MacDowell did share some tips and tricks anyone can follow. I encourage other women to love to exercise. It is really important not to say those negative messages, like, ‘I don’t want to do this.’ ‘I hate this.’ Because if you say that, you most likely won’t do it and you will hate it. I think there is a way for everyone to find a way to be active and enjoy it.” For the mother of three, she prefers to stay motivated by changing up her workout routine to keep it engaging. Aside from having great genes, Cosmopolitan UK reported back in 2009 that MacDowell prefers an exercise regimen involving weight training, cardio, and yoga. As for MacDowell’s eating habits? This star prefers to keep it simple with veggies, brown rice and plenty of water.
