Perhaps not surprisingly, boy bands are often the recipients of the most stuff, including love letters, marriage proposals, and (of course) undergarments. But there have been a number of fans who have taken these tokens of devotion many, many steps too far—you’ll never guess which pop star received a letter from a fan written in blood.

Zac Efron once had a fan send him a piece of their skin. "It's hilarious because you don't know how to handle it. You'll never get around it. I love all my fans," Efron told Conan O'Brien of the incident.
