The lovely and talented Miranda Lambert

Country music's reigning female vocalist.

Miranda Lambert

Singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert has come very far from her small town roots in Lindale, Texas to five-time winner of the ACM female vocalist of the year. Grammy? Check. Successful song writer? Check. Hot hubby? Double check. See what else this country gal has accomplished.

Newest family member

The singer announced the newest addition to the Lambert-Shelton clan over Instagram. "In honer (sic) of derby week...Welcome our newest family member! Willowbrand Saith ap Michael ...Shelton:) #ponypic." But don't expect any mini-Lambert or Sheltons running around any time soon. The couple, who are sick of fighting rumors of divorce and pregnancies, take to Twitter to set the record straight. "“@blakeshelton: Me & @mirandalambert are reading about our separation. I hope I get all the liquor in the divorce!” AND the imaginary baby?!"

Dramatic slim-down

Lambert showed off her newly svelte figure at country music's biggest party of the year. The "Automatic" singer looked better than ever in her Swarovski crystal studded nude gown. Lambert admits she spent her "20s on a roller coaster" with her "yo-yo weight." She decided to lose the weight once and for all before her 30 birthday this past November. "I just wanted to get healthier and go into my 30s in the best shape I could be in," she told People.

A dressed-down Miranda Lambert sang her latest single, "Automatic," on stage at the 49th ACM Awards in Las Vegas. The singer couldn't help but add a little glitz to her jeans tshirt look; she donned a pair of silver cowboy boots from her Designer Shoe Warehouse collection.

Performing with The King

Lambert performed a medley in honor of Merle Hagard with The King of Country Music at the 49th ACM Awards in Las Vegas. Lambert has often cited Hagard and Strait as two of her musical influencers.

Animal lover

The country singer's second love to music? Nope, it's not hubby Blake Shelton. Lambert loves all animals and has adopted several rescues. She even started her own charity called MuttNation Foundation to help neglected pets across the U.S. Click here for 5 more fun facts you didn't know about Miranda.

A different kind of shotgun wedding

Lambert and Shelton sure know how to clean up. While the country couple are red carpet-ready here, they're really most comfortable in blue jeans and a t-shirt. The outdoors fanatics even shot and served their own venison to their wedding guests in 2011. "Last thing loaded for the wedding!!! Harvested!!!!!" Lambert tweeted along with a picture of her holding the meat. Click here for more stars who hunt.

'Over You'

Singer-songwriters Shelton and Lambert embrace after accepting the award for song of the year for "Over You" at the 46th CMA Awards in Nashville. It was an emotional moment for the couple who co-wrote the song about Shelton's older brother who was killed in a car accident in 1990.

Girl power

What do you get when you put together strong female vocals, original country tunes and lots of hair spray? In 2011, Miranda Lambert (R) joined Ashley Monroe (L), Angaleena Presley (C) to form the Pistol Annies. The country trio's hit songs include "Hell on Heels" and "Hush Hush. They performed "Boys Round Here" with Luke Bryan, Sheryl Crow and Blake Shelton at the 48th ACM Awards in Las Vegas, April 7, 2013.

'Something Bad'

Although Lambert and Carrie Underwood have collaborated in the past (they performed "Travelin' Band" at the 45th ACM Awards in 2010), that didn't stop Lambert from being a bundle of nerves when approaching Underwood for a duet. "Singing with Carrie Underwood is very, very intimidating," Lambert admitted said of asking Underwood to record "Something Bad" for her upcoming "Platinum" album. "Asking her to do this was nerve-wracking."

Power couple

Grammy mashup

Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley performed a mashup of their hit songs, "Over You" and "Home" at the 55th annual Grammy Awards. The singers are close friends and have toured together three times, most recently on their "Locked and Reloaded" tour in 2013.

'Murica the beautiful

Nashville's it couple showed off their American pride at the start of the NFL Super Bowl XLVI football game between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots in 2012. They sang "America the Beautiful" in front of a pleased crowd.

Grammy winner

Lambert couldn't help but smile as she posed with her grammy for Best Female Country Vocal Performance award for "The House That Built Me" backstage at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards in 2011.

Lambert performed at the 39th Annual Country Music with the help of her favorite friend, fire, n 2005. The singer admitted to Chelsea Lately that she's fire-obsessed. "I just feel powerful when it's around," she said. "Especially if I can start it. Yeah, that's right. I'll burn your house down." Although she's never actually burnt down anyone's house, she practiced in her music video for "Kerosene."
