Doogie (played by Neil Patrick Harris) was the cutest and youngest licensed doctor in the country, at age 14, in 1989.
Neil Patrick Harris
Neil starred as the young doctor for four seasons and then had a rough time shedding his cute doctor image. He starred in stage productions and guest starred on TV shows over the years, but it wasn't until the uber popular sitcom, "How I Met Your Mother" launched in 2005 that his career was really kick-started again. He and his partner David Burtka have two kids.
Who doesn't love a cute tomboy? Sam (played by Alyssa Milano) was into sports like her dad (played by Tony Danza) and slowly grew more more girly during "Who's the Boss?" eight season run in the late '80s and early '90s.
After "Who's the Boss?" Alyssa Milano had a brief stint on "Melrose Place" before landing "Charmed" in 1998. After eight seasons playing a witch she moved on to "My Name is Earl."
In 2013 she signed on to a new show called "Mistresses."
Nowadays, girls may be either Team Edward or Team Jacob, but in the '80s and '90s, girls were either crushing on Slater (played by Mario Lopez) or Zack (played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar) on "Saved by the Bell."
Since "Saved by the Bell," Gosselaar dabbled in theatre, making his Off-Broadway debut in Theresa Rebeck's 2009 play "The Understudy" with The Roundabout Theatre Company.
In 2010, Gosselaar joined the cast of "Franklin & Bash" which was renewed for a fourth season.
He has two children with ex-wife and former model Lisa Ann Russell. In 2012, he married advertising executive Catriona McGinn and the couple have one son, born in 2013.
Girls would watch "Blossom" in the '90s because they could relate to the quirky teen (played by Mayim Bialik) and her best friend and neighbor Six (Jenna Von Oy). But another incentive to watching the drama was to see Blossom's younger brother Joey (played by Joey Lawrence) wear cut-off shirts.
The actor has starred on "Melissa & Joey" opposite Melissa Joan Hart on ABC Family since 2010. He has also dabbled in music over the years.

Jennie Garth burst on the scene as Kelly Taylor on "Beverly Hills, 90210" in 1990. She was pretty, popular and sweet. At least in the beginning.
The gorgeous actress somewhat reprised her role as Kelly when she went on to star as a guidance counselor in the latest edition of "90210."
Most recently she had a reality show, "Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country" on CMT that showcased the actress and her kids living on a farm and dealing with her divorce from actor Peter Facinelli.
After 11 years, she's single again fellas.
Officer Tom Hanson
Before he was a mega-movie star, a young Johnny Depp played an undercover cop on "21 Jump Street" from 1987 to 1990.

Kevin Arnold (played by Fred Savage) wasn't the only guy who had his heart set on Winnie Cooper (played by Danica McKellar) on "The Wonder Years."
It was hard for Danica to shed her Winnie Cooper shell. After getting a degree in mathematics and writing educational books, she tried to pose for sexy magazines and take on different roles, but she is now, and always will be, Winnie Cooper. Deal with it Danica! She is competing on the 18th season of "Dancing with the Stars."
Who didn't love Kelly Kapowski (played by Tiffani Thiessen) on "Saved by the Bell?"
A.C. Slater (played by Mario Lopez) and Zack Morris (played by Mark-Paul Goesselaar) fought over her at first but she eventually went on to date and later marry Zack.
After a series of rocky relationships, Thiessen married actor Brady Smith and the couple had daughter Harper Renn in 2010.
She has appeared in a couple of films including "Love Stinks" and "The Ladies Man." She has a recurring role as Elizabeth Burke in "White Collar."
Nobody was surprised when first Brenda (Shannon Doherty) and then Kelly (Jennie Garth) fell in love with bad boy Dylan McKay (Luke Perry) on "Beverly Hills, 90210."
He was tall, dark and handsome, and never seemed to follow the rules.
Girls dig that.
The actor has had many guest-starring appearances on TV over the years and has appeared in several movies, many of which were the kind that go straight to DVD.
When asked how he feels about his former alter ego Dylan McKay, Luke says, “I’m going to be linked with him until I die, but that’s actually just fine.
"I created Dylan McKay," he laughs. "He’s mine.”
Justine Bateman played Mallory Keaton on "Family Ties" opposite Michael J. Fox. She was sassy and smart, but still managed to date some losers over the years.
Guys at home wished they could be so lucky.
The actress has switched gears in the last few years working more in digital media since 2007. She recently announced that she will be attending UCLA in the fall of 2012 to pursue a degree in Computer Science.
But although she is both sexy and smart, she is also taken. She has been married to Mark Fluent since 2001 and they have two kids.
Topanga (Danielle Fishel) was Cory's (Ben Savage) girlfriend and later wife in "Boy Meets World." She was unlike other teen heartthrobs of the '90s and had more of an exotic sexy look to her that boys loved.
Frequently listed in the 1990s as one of the hottest stars, Danielle, 28, is now the host of the Style Network's "The Dish," a celebrity gossip show. She's had limited movie success, starring in straight-to-DVD "National Lampoon's Dorm Daze." She appeared frequently as a guest on "The Tyra Banks Show" as a spokeswoman for NutriSystem. Danielle is also known for once dating now openly gay Lance Bass but has since found true love in husband Tim Belusko whom she met while attending California State University.
Fishel will reprise her role of Topanga on the upcoming "Boy Meets World" spin off alongside TV love Ben Savage.
