Who's Your Favorite Superman?

Christopher Reeve played the super hero's super hero for nearly a decade in four different big screen installments. Many actors donned the royal blue suit before Reeves, and if "Man of Steel," which hits screens on June 14, is a hit, there will likely be many more.

Henry was considered for 2006's "Superman Returns" but lost out to Brandon Routh. Now, he makes history as the first non-American to wear the spandex suit in "Man of Steel." In another shakeup, Amy Adams (a redhead!) stars as Lois Lane.

Brandon Routh

Brandon was relatively unknown until he was cast in "Superman Returns" (2006). Even Christopher Reeve's wife approved of this casting choice and thought that Brandon incredibly resembled her late husband.

A sequel to the popular film was promised, with Brandon reprising the role, but after getting pushed back a few times, it became clear that it was never going to happen.
