FOX411 Recast Blast: 'Three's Company'
Come and knock on our door ...We've been waiting for you ...

'Three's Company'

The story of this classic sitcom (which aired from 1977 to 1984) revolved around three roommates of mixed genders (scandalous!).

Janet Wood (Joyce DeWitt), Chrissy Snow (Suzanne Somers) and Jack Tripper (John Ritter) shared Apartment 201 in a Santa Monica, California building owned by the Ropers, and later managed by Ralph Furley (Don Knotts).

The original cast was great, but we'd love to see this fun show back on the air, or maybe made into a movie.

Who'd we cast? Click to find out...

The Roommates

The trio's constant misunderstandings and hijinks kept audiences laughing from 1977 to 1984.

We'd have a pop star portray ditz Chrissy, a 'That 70s Show' vet play Janet, and... well, just click through to find out who made it past the FOX411.com casting couch.

Jack Tripper

The late John Ritter stole viewers' hearts as clumsy culinary student Jack Tripper. Jack is a Navy vet from San Diego and most importantly, a swinging bachelor.

'The Office' star John Krasinski is a loveable actor who'd be great to play clumsy, affable Jack.

Don't you agree?

Chrissy Snow

Who could forget Suzanne Somers in her signature role!

Somers started her career as a spacey secretary from Fresno, Chrissy Snow.

Jessica Simpson is the obvious choice to play Chrissy -- she updated Sommers' ditz role for the 2000s on her MTV reality show, 'Newlyweds.'

But while Sommers was playing a part, Simpson was just being herself.

Ralph Furley

It'd be hard to fill the late Don Knotts' shoes. The comedian played Ralph Furley, the gang's goofy landlord with the impressive ascot collection.

We think comic genius Martin Short would be hilarious as the wannabe ladies' man.

Joyce DeWitt portrayed transplanted Hoosier Janet Wood, the down-to-earth brunette who works at a flower shop.

Mila Kunis has had lots of experience with the show's time period -- she starred in 'That 70s Show.' And she has that same Midwestern-style spunk that made Janet so likable.

The Ropers

Middle-aged couple Stanley and Helen Roper were the roommates’ original landlords. The popular characters went on to their own show, ‘The Ropers,’ which ran from 1979-1980.

Norman Fell and Audra Lindley played the bumbling retirees.

It would be great to see ‘Brothers and Sisters’ star Sally Field drop the drama and get back to comedy! She’d be an adorable Mrs. Roper.

Jeffrey Tambor actually played a neighbor in ‘The Ropers,’ so he already knows the character. Also, he’s hilarious. He'd just need a decent comb-over rug.
