In a lengthy Instagram story posted Sunday, the actress debunked reports she was spotted out having a romantic dinner with Pratt. Some outlets said it sparked beef with Pratt’s estranged wife Anna Faris.
“Even if I was dating @PrattPrattPratt, some tabloids got me and @AnnaKFaris all wrong,” she wrote. “Women respect and love each other a lot more than some people like to think.”
Munn, 37, even included a screenshot of a text conversation with Faris, 41, to prove her point.
In the exchange, Munn said she would never respond to tabloid stories but felt compelled to speak up since they’re friends.
“The story about me and Chris dating has 0% truth,” she texted Faris. “I’m sure you already know it’s not true, or maybe didn’t care either way…”
Faris had plenty to say about the rumors and Munn’s act of kindness.
“Oh my god — this town is so f—king crazy — you are so sweet to text — I love you — having said that if you were my new sister in law I would be thrilled,” Faris quipped.
