He may have beat Shaq, but Aaron Carter has a new opponent: A web designer who claims the singer is trying to cheat him out of $50,000.

TMZ reports that John Cantu claims he developed and maintained Carter’s website for months. When he demanded payment for his work in June, Carter allegedly refused, saying Cantu had been an unpaid intern the entire time.

Cantu believes the intern title is bogus, because he didn’t actually learn anything from Carter.

Carter’s team sent Cantu a letter demanding control of the site, which is now blank. He says he will repair the site and relinquish its control once he gets paid for his services.

Carter’s reps didn’t immediately return a request for comment, but the “Aaron’s Party” singer hinted at the discord on Twitter, writing, “There is a sufficiency in the world for man’s need but not for man’s greed. I rest my case.”
