Jenny can’t sell her own block
Jennifer Lopez has to drop the price of her Los Angeles-area mansion twice now after putting it on the market for $17 million last year.
According to Variety, the “Ain’t Your Mama” singer recently re-listed her 17,000-square-foot home for $12.5 million. It’s down from the $14 million-price tag that she set after it was sitting on the market for months.
Lopez’s home, located in a gated community outside of Los Angeles, sits on 3.13 acres with views of the San Fernando Valley and San Gabriel Mountains. It boasts a stunning pool and a separate guest house.
The house features nine bedrooms and 11 full bathrooms, a 20-person home theater, a gym, a library, eight fireplaces, an eight-car garage and a recording studio.
"A humongous informal living space makes a long sweep along the rear of the residence and includes an expensively outfitted center island kitchen with thick slab marble counter tops, a dining space that opens to a large loggia, and a spacious family room that includes a full bar with a corkscrew staircase that winds down to a small wine cellar," Variety reports.
Lopez has owned the home for about six years, purchasing it with then-husband Marc Anthony in 2010 for $8.2 million.
