If Sonja Morgan can withstand the wrath of Ramona Singer, she’d likely make it through a torture chamber, too.
“It’s like a sorority, someone was saying, but I would say it’s more like hazing,” Morgan told Page Six of her nearly five-season stint on “The Real Housewives of New York City.” “Waterboard me — I think I could survive.”
Morgan, 52, is set to return for Season 8 of the Bravo series when it premieres Wednesday at 9 p.m. And while she and longtime pal Luann de Lesseps have gotten their friendship back following last year’s tense reunion, the pair cited co-star Singer, 59, as the reason for the rift.
“We’ve been spending more time together, we’ve been separated for awhile, meaning Ramona wedged herself between us,” explained de Lesseps, 50, who is engaged to Thomas D’Agostino.
Meanwhile, Morgan shared that she can’t quit pal Singer quite yet.
“It’s always rocky, I’d say the last three years,” Morgan said. “But when you’re friends with someone for 30 years, it’s hard to shake that off. We love each other no matter what comes up.”
