Selena Gomez would love to make an epic collaboration with BFF Taylor Swift.
The longtime friends have been huge supporters of each other’s music for many years, with Gomez appearing in Swift’s star-studded “Bad Blood” music video. But they have never worked on a song together and Gomez cannot wait until they do.
"Oh, I don't know. I mean, eventually, right?" Selena told E! News at the Sundance Film Festival on Friday. "She's my best friend. We'll see."
The former Disney Channel star was at the Park City, Utah film festival promoting her newest flick “The Fundamentals of Caring.”
She told Fox News Latino that while she enjoys her music, she is hungry to do more acting.
"It's great to be able to do both, but I think acting is something that I definitely need to tackle more of," the 23-year-old said.
That said, music and her newest album “Revival,” are cathartic for Gomez, who has been under the microscope for most of her career.
"The past year I felt like so much of what I was dealing with publicly I wanted to kind of pour into my music," she told FNL. "So it was wonderful for me to kind of translate that."
As for her film, Gomez gushed about director James Franco, who she said is a “genius in his own weird, beautiful way.”
While fans wait for her collaboration with Swift, 26, Gomez will be producing the new Netflix miniseries “13 Reasons Why.”
"It's been great,” she said, “I can't complain."
