Hannah Ferguson's Bikini Selfie, Alexander Skarsgard's Silent Tarzan, and Much, Much More

Here's what's happening out there:

• On Wednesday, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Hannah Ferguson shared a bodacious bikini selfie in front of her bathroom mirror (above). She also made sure to indicate she used no Instagram filters before posting the photo, aside from the natural heavenly glow that God has arbitrarily decided to bless her with, of course.

• Speaking of Sports Illustrated models, we recently had the pleasure of interviewing Hailey Clauson after her first-ever appearance in the Swimsuit Issue — which led to a story about her grandmother ripping it to shreds. • Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first trailer for "The Legend of Tarzan" starring former "True Blood" actor Alexander Skarsgard in the title role. And while he certainly looks the part of a man who was raised in the jungle, only time will tell if audiences can suspend disbelief long enough to overlook a slight Swedish accent.

• The nominations for the 22nd Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced on Wednesday, and surprisingly, Netflix came away with two film nominations and more TV nominations (8) than any other individual network. This only goes to prove that SAG voters, just like the rest of us, sure love sitting on their butts and binge-watching "Orange is the New Black."

• This past Wednesday on Instagram, "Top Chef" host Padma Lakshmi posted a provocative vacation video from her getaway in Goa, India (below). In the interest of full disclosure, however, she also shared a photo of herself using a gross public toilet only hours beforehand, so maybe rethink your fantasies after reviewing all the facts.

• Actor, rapper and philosopher Jaden Smith announced on Twitter that "Twilight" and "Age of Adaline" are his two favorite movies of all time. So if you're wondering what to get Jaden Smith for Christmas this year, he's really into mediocre movies about immortal people. (Maybe a copy of "Zardoz"?)

• Disney has released the first trailer for Steven Spielberg's "The BFG" (below), which, despite looking like the creepiest thing ever captured on celluloid, is apparently a children's movie based on the 1982 children's book by Roald Dahl. Good luck putting the kids to sleep after this one:

• And finally, according to Variety, Showtime has decided to renew its Sunday night dramas "Homeland" and "The Affair" for new seasons in 2016. In doing so, they've also pretty much decided we'll still be ending our weeks on a horribly depressing note.
