Liv Tyler confirms she is engaged to David Gardner

Actress Liv Tyler confirmed in an Instagram post on Sunday that she is engaged to British sports agent and socialite David Gardner.

"Crazy about my man!!!!! sweet sweet daddy , friend , fianc," she captioned the photo, which showcases her strategically-placed engagement ring. "Thank you !!!!!! Grateful"

The "Leftovers" star and Gardner were introduced by their mutual friend Kate Moss. Their son, Sailor Gene, was born in February. Tyler also has a 10-year-old son, Milo, from a previous marriage to musician Royston Langdon. Gardner has an 8-year-old son from his marriage to actress Davinia Taylor. That boy, Gray, has Moss and David Beckham, Gardner's best friend, as godparents.

Entertainment Tonight reported in September that Tyler and Gardner were engaged back in December of last year, but it took this long for the couple to publicly confirm their relationship.
