Lance Bass is setting the record straight a day after revealing he was touched inappropriately by a “pedophile” during his teenage days in the band NSYNC.

On Wednesday he said publicly, “When we started there was someone that we worked with that was inappropriately touching us. I was even aware then, at 16, that this guy was a pedophile and he was touching me oddly. But I didn’t feel victimized at the time because I was very aware of it.”

He delved further into the subject Thursday, saying, “He’d kind of give … massages. He always did the whole thing where he was like, ‘Oh yeah, if I massage your bicep like this it will look bigger.'”

Bass, 36, explained on his Sirius XM show Thursday that none of the NSYNC members was molested, and that the alleged misconduct was “nothing more than just inappropriate touching.”

“It’s not like the [Bill] Cosby situation where I felt violated and I need justice,” he said. “I kind of felt sorry for the guy at the time because I was in the closet and obviously this guy probably was in the closet.”
