Jennifer Lawrence: President Trump would be 'end of the world'

Break Time: Oscar winner on candidacy - 'If Donald Trump becomes president, that will be the end of the world'

Given the choice between Donald Trump and “Hunger Games” villain President Snow, Jennifer Lawrence would probably pick the latter.

“If Donald Trump becomes president, that will be the end of the world,” the “Mockingjay” actress told Entertainment Weekly. “I genuinely believe that reality television has reached the ultimate place where now even things might just be for entertainment.”

“It’s either that or it’s Hillary's brilliant idea,” she continued.

While Lawrence, 25, didn’t disclose which presidential candidate would get her vote, co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson are on board with her anti-Trump campaign.

“It’s a publicity stunt,” Hutcherson, 22, dished. “It can’t be real.”

More On This...

Though some may compare Lawrence’s brash attitude to The Donald’s boisterous remarks, the Oscar winner doesn’t quite grasp the appeal of the former “Celebrity Apprentice” host.

“I was watching him on the campaign trail and one guy said, ‘I love Donald Trump because he’s saying everything I’m thinking and I just can’t say it because of the PC factor,'” Lawrence recalled. “And I’m thinking, ‘You are absolutely right. That’s who I want representing my country, somebody politically incorrect. That will just be perfect.'”

As for Hemsworth, 25, he’s standing behind Lawrence’s end-of-days prediction.

“I’ll back you up on that.”
