Leonard Nimoy’s kids are producing dueling documentaries about their late “Star Trek” icon dad.
Daughter Julie Nimoy and her husband, David Knight, are making “COPD: Highly Illogical” — a tribute to Leonard that centers on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, which killed him this year at age 83.
The movie “will feature the latest information and treatments on COPD from some of the top medical experts,” say the filmmakers, who are crowd-funding the project.
The film’s being narrated by John de Lancie, who starred on “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and other spinoff series as the character “Q.”

The New York Post previously reported that Julie’s brother, Adam Nimoy, is making a different film, “For the Love of Spock.”
That project has already raised $662,640 online from fans and will focus on Nimoy’s iconic Spock character and career with narration by Zachary Quinto and interviews with William Shatner, George Takei, J.J. Abrams and Seth MacFarlane, among others.
Both films aim to tie in with the 50th anniversary of “Star Trek” next year.
