Molly Sims may have bounced back from giving birth to her second child in March in record time, but the 42-year-old supermodel says there are certain things she simply won’t wear now that’s she’s a mom.

“I think as you get older — I hate to say it — versatility and comfort are what’s important,” Sims told us at Rue La La and Cotton’s Fashion Week kickoff party, which she hosted. “Can I layer it? Can I make it work from day to night? My style has changed in that way. It’s a lot more simple.”

Other ways her style has shifted? “I’m definitely not as trendy,” Sims added. “Like super short shorts? Never again.”

She also had some advice for Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid on longevity in the famously cutthroat world of modeling. For one: Never get stuck in a rut.

“I did cut off my hair about seven minutes ago. You have to always be changing,” she said. “You have to have the ability now to be doing a lot of different things.”
