“Another One Bites the Dust” may be by Queen, but it might as well be U2’s theme song at this point.
Mere months after Bono broke his arm and an eye socket in a Central Park bike crash, the band’s guitarist The Edge took a nasty fall during a concert in Vancouver on Thursday night, reports BBC.
A fan who was at the Rogers Arena for the show posted a video of the tumble to Instagram. In the clip, the 53-year-old, whose real name is David Howell Evans, can be seen obliviously walking off the edge of the band’s uniquely shaped stage.
Fortunately for the guitarist, he only suffered a few scrapes and a bruised ego.
“Didn’t see the edge, I’m ok!” he said in a pun-y update posted to the group’s Instagram account.
U2 are no stranger to painful concert mishaps, Bono especially. BBC points out that the singer has taken several painful falls throughout the years, including at shows in Miami in 2001, Washington D.C. in 1987, and during a festival performance in Germany in 1983.
