A live German television model casting show featuring model Heidi Klum was abandoned after a woman called in a bomb threat.
TV channel ProSieben abruptly yanked "Germany's next Topmodel" off the air Thursday night, initially citing "technical problems."
Police said Friday that an anonymous caller had phoned in a bomb threat to the venue, the SAP Arena in the southwestern city of Mannheim. Some 8,500 people were evacuated from the arena.
Officials then found a suspect suitcase near a changing room, but it turned out to contain nothing dangerous and the owner was quickly found. No other suspicious objects were found.
Klum tweeted: "Dear GNT fans, unfortunately the evening didn't end the way I wanted! Safety comes first!"
