Rapper Lil Wayne's tour bus was hit by gunfire early Sunday after he performed at an Atlanta nightclub.

Atlanta police told WAGA that officers were called to the northeastern part of the city shortly after 3 a.m., where they found 2 tour buses that had been shot multiple times. No injuries were reported.

Police said the bus drivers explained that the shooting happened on I-285 and I-75 in Cobb County. The 32-year-old Lil Wayne was one of several people on the buses at the time of the shooting. The rapper had just performed at the Compound Club in the northwest of the city.

Police say witnesses could only provide a limited description of the suspect vehicles. They were described as two white vehicles, possibly a Corvette style vehicle and an SUV.
