Dennis Quaid is known for his loveable grin, but in a new YouTube video that’s gaining plenty of attention the star’s smile is nowhere to be seen.

In a 44-second expletive-filled clip, Quaid is seen going berserk on the set of a project he is presumably filming, frantically yelling at the off-camera people on set.

“What the f--k? Keep going!” Quaid is seen screaming. “I am acting and this d---head wanders on to my set,” he fumes.

Someone off camera attempts to calm the star down by gently saying his name, but it only fuels his anger.

“Don’t f--king ‘Dennis’ me,” he yells as he waves his arms. “I am doing my job here. I am a pro! This is the most unprofessional set I have ever been on!”

The camera then focuses on the ground instead of Quaid as the actor seemingly nears whoever is filming the rant.

The “Far From Heaven” and “Parent Trap” actor is heard storming off at the end of the rage-filled video.

It’s not clear when the video was taken, and according to the International Movie Database, Quaid currently does not have any movies in production.

But fans of the actor began commenting on the video, which has garnered more than 400,000 views, suggesting that it was a staged skit.

“It oozes fake,” one commenter wrote. Another insisted, “Folks, it's Jimmy Kimmel. Relax, it's all staged.”

One viewer quipped, “His best performance in decades.”

Curiously, Sony's Crackle announced on Tuesday it was working on a 10-episode long series starring Quaid. The actor will also serve as a producer on "The Art of More."

A rep for Quaid could not immediately be reached for comment.
