Kelly Osbourne may leave her post on E!’s “Fashion Police” following the controversy over co-host Giuliana Rancic's on-air diss of starlet Zendaya's dreadlocks.

On Tuesday afternoon, 30-year-old Osbourne clarified via Twitter that she was not involved in the inflammatory segment in which Rancic said Zendaya probably smelled “like patchouli oil” or “weed” because of her hairstyle on Sunday’s Oscar red carpet.

During Monday’s post-Oscar broadcast, one of Rancic’s co-hosts, who was not seen on camera at the time, chimed in that Zendaya probably smelled like “weed.”

More On This...

Zendaya called Rancic’s comments “disrespectful” and “offensive” in a lengthy Instagram post.

“To say that an 18 year old young woman with locs must smell of patchouli oil or ‘weed’ is not only a large stereotype but outrageously offensive,” she wrote.

Rancic issued an apology tweeting, “I’m sorry I offended you and others. I was referring to a bohemian chic look. Had nothing to do with race and NEVER would!!!”
