Chelsea Handler is burning her cable network bridges.
The 39-year-old comedian slammed E! and her former show "Chelsea Lately" during the Code/Media conference in Dana Point, Calif., and gushed over her deal at Netflix.
"At E! I did what I wanted and I didn't listen to anybody because I didn't care what they had to say because I didn't respect their opinions," Handler said of the network that employed her for seven years (via The Hollywood Reporter). "At Netflix, I do respect their opinions. It's like going out with a guy you're proud to be seen with."

The comedian likened her upcoming show to "60 Minutes," saying it will be a "healthy mix of everything that goes on around the world." She added that she expects the program to be compared to "The Daily Show."
