Soap opera star Linsey Godfrey, severely injured in a horrific accident in Los Angeles on Monday, is expected to make a full recovery, her rep tells FOX411.

"Linsey is improving and is expected to make a full recovery," Theo Swerissen said.

"The Bold and the Beautiful" star had both of her legs broken when a car veered onto the sidewalk and struck her, TMZ reports.

Godfrey had been moved from the wreckage by the time paramedics arrived, and she was then rushed to the hospital where she went into surgery, the report said.

Godfrey, 26, plays Caroline Spencer Forrester on the long-running soap. She was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2006 and completed treatment. She gave birth to her first daughter last year.
