Sofia Vergara is a blushing bride-to-be.
The “Modern Family” actress hit the Screen Actors Guild awards on Sunday and she had the perfect accessories with her: hottie fiancé Joe Manganiello and her beautiful engagement ring.
The actress was not shy about showing off her massive rock during her first red carpet appearance as an engaged woman. She showed up with Manganiello and did not stop gushing about her upcoming nuptials.
“It’s all about the bling-bling, so he knew what I needed,” Vergara, 44, told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson while showing off the large diamond. “I opened it up and I checked it to see (the size). And then I was like, ‘Yes!’ No, I’m joking, he’s so handsome that I would have said ‘OK’ anyway.”
The Colombian actress told Entertainment Tonight that she could not be more excited about her future with Manganiello, who reportedly proposed on Christmas Day while the two were vacationing in Hawaii.
“I think we’re going to try to do it sooner than later,” Vergara said about her upcoming wedding. “It’s going to be a lot of people. It has to be a lot of people. We sat down and tried, ‘OK, let’s see if we can do like 20 and 20,’ and it was impossible.”
Manganiello, 38, shared a photo of the two on the red carpet, captioning it: “Great time tonight at #SAGawards2015 con mi prometida (fiancé) Thanks to @Zegna for the tux.”
Although “Modern Family” lost best TV ensemble cast to the Netflix original series “Orange is the New Black,” Vergara had a lot to celebrate Sunday night as Miss Colombia Paulina Vega was crowned Miss Universe.
“Barranquilla!!!!! Miss Universe!!!!” she tweeted a photo of the winner.
