Johnny Depp has some strong feelings about all those actors who are turning into musicians.
Although he’s a guitarist himself and has dabbled playing with bands and musicians like Oasis, Marilyn Manson, and the Black Keys, it’s safe to say that “The Johnny Depp” band won’t be happening anytime soon.
The Sydney Morning Herald reported that at Johnny’s Berlin premiere of "Mortdecai" on Sunday, the actor put down celebs who use their fame (and fortune) to become successful musicians, saying, "That whole idea for me is a sickening thing, it’s always just made me sick.”
About those actors who capitalize on their already secured fame, the 51-year-old actor added:
He said he’s okay with those dabbling in music, adding “I’ve been very lucky to play on friends’ records, and it’s still going. Music is still part of my life…. But you won’t be hearing The Johnny Depp Band. That won’t ever exist.”
