IMAX and HBO are now launching the "Game Of Thrones" IMAX screenings on January 29 beginning at 10 PM, a week later than originally scheduled, due to “extraordinary consumer response."
The date change, they say, allows for an expanded roll-out to upwards of 200 IMAX theatres, up from an initial 150.
The screenings will feature two episodes from 'GOT' season 4, followed by the worldwide debut of the series season 5 sneak-peek preview created exclusively for IMAX.
To date, confirmed cities include Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Montreal, New York, San Antonio, Seattle, Toronto and Washington, D.C. Tickets go on sale on January 16.
