Olivia Munn's Swimsuit Photoshoot, Giada De Laurentiis' Smoky Eye Makeup, and Much, Much More

Celebrity makeup artist Vanessa Elese shows us how to recreate Giada De Laurentiis' smoldering smoky eyes.

Here's what's happening out there:

This past Wednesday on Instagram, "Newsroom" actress Olivia Munn shared multiple snapshots of herself in skimpy swimwear (below). In the same photos, she's also seen cradling her new rescue dog Chance, who appears not only to have been rescued, but given the most envied existence in the history of living creatures:

Giada De Laurentiis has been all over the news following her recent separation from husband Todd Thompson (and subsequent rumors of cheating with Bobby Flay or Matt Lauer). We, however, would like to focus on something more positive, like Giada's seductive, smoky eyes. Check out the video above to watch Vanessa Elese, one of Giada's makeup artists, recreate the look in

The People's Choice Awards took place on Wednesday in L.A., and according to said "people," Robert Downey Jr. is our favorite actor, and "The Big Bang Theory" is our favorite TV show. We thought we preferred Tom Cruise and "Modern Family," but apparently we were wrong.

"Scorpion" star and former "American Idol" contestant Katharine McPhee wore a skin-tight black and white dress to the People's Choice Awards (below), presumably because she wants all those people to choose her.

Us Weekly reports that "Friends" actor Matt LeBlanc and his girlfriend of 8 years, Andrea Anders, have decided to part ways. As of now, it's not known whether LeBlanc will be keeping the couple's Hollywood home, or if he'll be forced to move back in with Chandler and his duck.

"Sherlock" actor Benedict Cumberbatch and fiancée Sophie Hunter are reportedly expecting their first child. The couple hasn't yet revealed the sex of the baby, but do know this much: Whatever it is, it'll have strikingly angular features that some people find very attractive, while others, not so much.

On Wednesday, Sia debuted a new music video for her song "Elastic Heart" featuring Shia LaBeouf as some kind of dancing cage-fighter (below). It's anybody's guess as to why Shia is in Sia's video, but perhaps that one of the producers mis-read the call sheet and figured, "Eh, that sounds like it might work. Let's just roll with it."

According to Variety, John Travolta has been cast as Robert Shapiro in FX's "American Crime Story," an upcoming miniseries based on O.J. Simpson's 1994 trial. He joins Cuba Gooding Jr. (as Simpson) and David Schwimmer (as Robert Kardashian) in what will likely be a much less engrossing TV program than the actual O.J. trial.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is reportedly expecting her second child with husband Brian Hallisay. So it turns out that we actually do know what she did last summer, and it was husband Brian Hallisay, probably numerous times, in an effort to get pregnant.

Victoria's Secret model Candice Swanepoel channelled Marilyn Monroe for a new Max Factor campaign. So when Max Factor earlier announced that Monroe would be the new face of their brand, they apparently meant Swanepoel would be the new face, and Marilyn would posthumously be providing the dress and hair.

And finally, it was revealed on Tuesday that country singer Blake Shelton, also a coach on NBC's "The Voice," will take a crack at hosting (and acting as the musical guest) on "Saturday Night Live" later this month. So expect lots of laughs, good tunes, and probably an unnecessary cameo by Adam Levine's smug face.
