The San Francisco home that was shown in the film “Mrs. Doubtfire” was the target of a suspicious fire on Monday night, 5KPIX reported.

According to local news reports, police flocked to the scene after someone apparently tried to burn the home down.

A doctor now owns the house, which was made famous in Robin Williams’ 1993 family-favorite comedy. He reportedly told police he had been having issues with a client.

Footage from the scene on Monday night showed the garage of the home was burned. 5PIX reported an accelerant, such as gasoline, may have been used in the fire.

No suspects have been named so far, the station reported.

The San Francisco Police Department did not immediately return FOX411’s request for comment regarding the fire.

The home featured in the hit comedy became the scene of a memorial back in August after Williams committed suicide. Fans left flowers, cards and other personal items on the steps of the house.
