New accuser claims Bill Cosby sexually abused her when she was underage
The Los Angeles Police Department is poised to investigate the allegations of a woman named Judy Huth, who claims Bill Cosby sexually assaulted her back in 1974 during a party at the Playboy Mansion when she was just 15 years old. The LAPD, however, is not investigating the alleged crime at this time because the victim has come to them directly as of now, a detective for the LAPD told FOX411.
“We have not been able to verify that an official criminal report has been made on that. If we can get information confirmed or if a victim comes forward to us… we would do a thorough investigation on that,” the detective told us.
Huth’s lawyer filed a sexual battery lawsuit against Cosby on Tuesday, seeking an unlimited amount in punitive damages for the psychological trauma she suffered following the alleged assault.
Huth alleges she met the famed comedian at a Los Angeles-area film shoot.
The lawsuit states that Cosby Huth and a friend to the Playboy Mansion after several drinks, and told the teenagers to lie and say they were 19 years old if asked. Her lawsuit states Cosby forced her to perform a sex act on him with his hand.
Huth claims she suffered severe emotional distress and that she discovered its impact on her within the past three years, which allows her to file the lawsuit under California law.
A rep for Playboy did not return FOX411’s request for comment on the claims made by Huth.
More than 20 women have come forward to accuse the former “Cosby Show” star of sexual assault. Some women have claimed they were raped while others have stated they were forced to perform other sexual acts. Most of the women claim Cosby drugged them prior to assaulting them.
A lawyer for Huth did not return FOX411’s request for comment.
Cosby’s lawyer has remained mum in recent days about the mounting accusations. He previously called the claims "unsubstantiated" and "discredited."
