Here's what everybody's buzzing about:
Late last week, Katy Perry shared a Twitter selfie in revealing lingerie (below), telling her followers that she was feeling very "Lolita" at that moment — which, when you think about it, makes the whole thing a lot less sexy. So don't think about it.
If you couldn't tell from we here at FNM are big on cocktails — and almost nobody makes a better cocktail than Brooklyn's Maison Premiere. Watch the video above to see head bartender Will Elliot whip a Daybreak Boys, one of the bar's weird and wild signature beverages.
Jessica Simpson showed at the Los Angeles premiere of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1" on Monday evening (below). She looked as skinny as ever, too, which makes us wonder whether she believed she was participating in an actual, starvation-based competition. (It's just a movie, Jess.)
The New York Times tried to interview Willow and Jaden Smith (14 and 16, respectively), about their music and acting careers, but instead they talked about being masters of time, quantum physics, and our "holographic reality." They are not, therefore, masters of modesty, or masters of not coming off like complete and total blowhards.
Taylor Swift has been sending her fans surprise Christmas gifts (along with handwritten notes) of makeup, kimonos and tea sets, among other stuff. The recipients are seemingly chosen at random, however, so there's no telling who Swift will gift next, and no way to curry favor. On an unrelated note, we'd like to point out how often we praise Taylor Swift, and how much we could use a new iPad.
Speaking of Swift, a user on Reddit recently shared his 2003 middle school video project online because it featured Taylor Swift in a supporting role (below). Billed as a fake commercial for Paco's Paradise Smoothies, Swift doesn't get a chance to sing, act, or do much of anything, but one thing is certain: It certainly whetted her appetite for starring in beverage commercials ten years down the road.
Former MTV and VH1 reality star Tila Tequila gave birth to her first child on Sunday, a daughter she named Isabella Monroe. We're happy for her and all, but she really screwed us over. We had $50 on "Vicky Vodka" in our office-wide pool.
According to Bravo TV personality and producer Andy Cohen, Joan Rivers was in talks to host a "Judge Judy"-style show called "What's Your Problem?" before she died. In it, Joan would settle petty fueds between real-life high-society types, and, in all likelihood, probably trash what they were wearing while she was at it.
On Monday, Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey was honored with his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And this time, instead of bringing along a rambling prepared speech about gumbo and Miller Lite, this time he simply brought along his adorable family:
And finally, after shooting off his own finger last week, former MLB player Jose Canseco says his reattached digit accidentally "fell off" while he was playing poker. But seeing as he's now trying to sell the finger on eBay for some extra cash, we're guessing he didn't even win that poker game. He must've had some really bad hands, both literally and figuratively.
