Pop singer Ricky Martin will be forever immortalized in wax.
The Puerto Rican superstar will be getting his own wax figure for Madame Tussauds that will be exhibited in the new museum in Orlando.
“I am excited to see my wax figure. It will definitely be a surreal moment,” Martin said in a statement. “To sit with the talented group of artists responsible for these extraordinary wax figures was a wonderful experience. I feel very honored to be part of Madame Tussauds and even more so, that it will be presented at Madame Tussauds Orlando, as Florida has a very special place in my heart.”
Martin, who is known worldwide for hits like “Livin’ la Vida Loca,” “The Cup of Life” and “She Bangs,” will unveil his wax figure on November 19 in Las Vegas. It will later be moved to Orlando.
Martinwill be in the Nevada city for the 15th annual Latin Grammy Awards on November 20.
He is currently touring in Mexico.
