Katharine McPhee Wears a Minidress to People's Choice Nominations, Shows Some Serious Leg

Earlier this week, the nominations for the 2015 People's Choice Awards were announced at the Paley Center in Los Angeles.

But enough about all that. Let's take a moment to talk about Katharine McPhee's outfit.

Along with actors John Cho, Cristin Milioti, Dave Annable and Bellamy Young, McPhee was on-hand to help announce the nominees for next year's ceremony, to be held on January 7th at the Nokia Theater in L.A. But unlike her fellow TV stars, McPhee was showcasing some serious gams:

The former "American Idol" contestant took the stage in a skin-tight minidress with a geometric black and white print. What's more (or less, in this particular instance), McPhee's racerback frock stopped at mid-thigh, allowing her to flaunt her enviable sculpted stems.

Not feeling the need to accessorize any further, McPhee, 30, complemented her look with only a pair of heels and some modest jewelry.

And not only did McPhee steal the spotlight, but her new CBS series "Scorpion" earned itself a nomination for Favorite New TV Drama.
