First photos from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's wedding

Just over a week after Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie married in a secret ceremony in France, the first photos of the event are out.

Jolie's Atelier Versace dress was decorated with artwork by her children, with designs based on their drawings sewn into the fabric and veil by Luigi Massi, according to People and Hello!, which published the photos.

"It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter," Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39, told People about their wedding day. "It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family."

The couple's six children — Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and 6-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox — helped write their parents' vows for the big day, and all of them played a role in the ceremony. Pitt also had to borrow a tie from one of his sons because he forgot to bring one with him to France.
