There is a bun in the oven!

Although a slew of photos from recent appearances left no doubt, actress Zoe Saldaña finally confirmed she is in fact pregnant.

The “Avatar” actress announced the not-very surprising news while participating in the viral ALS ice bucket challenge with husband Marco Perego.

“I am accepting James Gunn’s challenge to take on the ice bucket challenge,” Saldaña, 36, told the camera.

“Obviously, I can’t do it myself so I nominate my husband to take on the challenge,” she added, while turning to the side to show off her growing baby bump.

Perego willingly took on the challenge, getting drenched by ice water before jumping into a nearby pool. The couple nominated director James Cameron, Aileen Getty, Ron Burkle and Salma Hayek to take on the challenge next.

The news that Saldaña was expecting her first child broke last month. The private couple has been hesitant to comment, though the actress hit several carpet events baring her growing baby bump.

Another celeb to do the ALS challenge and who is rumored to be pregnant is Colombian singer Shakira.

The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer and boyfriend Gerard Pique accepted the challenge and doused themselves with cold water. In return, she nominated Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and Pope Francis.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is raising awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which is also known as Lou Gehrig Disease.

Since it started on July 29, more than $31.5 million have been raised around the world, the ALS Association announced Wednesday.
