Ashley Benson was photographed topless. Was she in on it?
Ashley Benson may not be going nude in a movie, but apparently she has no problem going topless on a beach.
The "Spring Breakers" star told Cosmopolitan magazine earlier this year that naked women in movies were unnecessary.
“I never want to do nudity that’s gratuitous. Girls look so much better in lingerie or a t-shirt and leave the rest up to the imagination," she said.
But Benson had no problem dropping her top on a Maui beach earlier this month to sunbathe with her “Pretty Little Liars” co-star Shay Mitchell.
In her Cosmo interview, Benson said she did not understand why anyone would get naked in public.
"I remember we were filming 'Spring Breakers' with this girl who was topless, and I tried to have a serious conversation with her. Why would you want to go topless for a film that you may not even be paid for?" she said.
Mitchell, for her part, remained fully bikini'd.
