Dr. Dre — the self-proclaimed first billionaire of hip-hop — is celebrating Apple’s bid to buy Beats Electronics by picking up Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady’s sprawling $50 million mansion in California, the New York Post has learned.

Apple is said to be acquiring Beats Electronics for $3.2 billion, and while the deal is yet to be formally confirmed, Dre has been busy looking for a new mansion fit for a mogul.

Sources tell the newspaper that Dre has made an offer near the $50 million asking price for Bundchen and Brady’s palatial pad in Brentwood. The 14,000-square-foot mega-mansion, featured in Architectural Digest, boasts six bedrooms, a library, a state-of-the-art gym, infinity pool, waterfall and even a moat. No word on the sound system, but Dre will be sure to have his own put in place.

“Dre put an offer on the mansion as soon as it came on the market, and is a few weeks away from closing,” revealed a source.  It was not clear if Dre would immediately put his current mansion in the Hollywood Hills on the market.

As news of Apple’s move to acquire Beats emerged late on Thursday, a Facebook video uploaded by actor Tyrese Gibson featuring Dre suggested the deal was done.

In the clip, the “Fast and Furious” actor congratulates Dre, the CEO of Beats and a co-founder with music mogul Jimmy Iovine on the acquisition.

Gibson then jokes about the Forbes list, which ranked Dre the second-wealthiest hip-hop artist of this year (coming in after Sean “Puffy” Combs) with an estimated wealth of $550 million chortling, “They need to update the Forbes list. S—t just changed.”

To which Dre adds, “The first billionaire in hip-hop, right here from the mother—king West Coast.” The video has since been taken down from Gibson’s Facebook page.
