With Kim Kardashian’s appearance on the cover of fashion bible Vogue, is it time to admit the sex tape star turned reality phenomenon has cornered the market on fame?

Apparently, yes.

“The thing about Kim Kardashian, the Kardashian clan, and Kanye West is that people are just hypnotized by them for some reason," Valerie Greenberg of You’veBeenVALidated.com told FOX411. "Whether you love them or hate them, one thing is true, they create conversation."

SiriusXM radio host Rich Davis agrees.

“People have got to stop hating on Kim Kardashian," he said. "Because she’s a winner."

Indeed appearing on the cover of Vogue with a popular reality show and sex tape as her main calling cards is quite the feat. And not everyone is happy about it.

“It really comes down to that Vogue is associated with elegance, A-list Oscar winning actresses and high fashion," Greenberg explained. "Kim Kardashian will never be an Oscar winner or high fashion model. Because of that, that’s why people are lashing out."

"It’s all jealously. People get attention, other people want it," Davis added. "The Kardashians are cultural icons now."

And Davis said unlike some other reality show stars, Kim, with the help of Kanye West, is here to stay.

“At one point, we didn’t think that Paris Hilton would go away, and now Paris Hilton’s really nowhere now," he said. "The Kardashians have longer lasting power especially because of Kim and Kanye. They’re a power couple."
