Claudia Schiffer chose her integrity over a big payday.

According to E!, the 43-year-old supermodel revealed on "The Jonathan Ross Show" that there was a time in her life when an Arabian prince offered her a $1 million deal to be his new “eye candy.”

The prince asked her out to dinner but Schiffer rejected his offer, and she told Ross another supermodel went in her place.

"It's not all about money," she said on the show. "I just want to be able to walk down the street and be proud of what I do."

Schiffer refused to name the prince and the other model.

Schiffer also said she didn't like being labeled a supermodel. "When they started talking about 'super' and 'supermodel', I thought 'this is really insulting.' I want to be taken seriously in the high-end world of Chanel, Yves St Laurent -- I don’t want to be some supermodel."

Schiffer has been married to film director Matthew Vaughn for 12 years and has three young children.
