Nearly five decades after becoming a sex symbol for her role in “One Million Years B.C.,” Raquel Welch can still astound.

Wearing a sparkling, knee-length black dress, the 73-year-old shined on the red carpet for the Costume Designers Guild Award on Saturday night, New York Post reports.

The actress was on hand to speak at the event talking about how the fur bikini she wore in the 1966 fantasy adventure changed her life.

“I owe a huge debt of gratitude and respect to the contributions costume designers have made to our industry,” Welch said, according to Deadline. “Let me put it this way: God was very good to me, but, well, it was the fabulous costume designers who knew exactly where and how to apply the frosting.”
