Christina Aguilera is engaged! The 33-year-old singer tweeted the happy news that she is engaged to longtime boyfriend Matthew Rutler who popped the question on Valentine's Day. "The Voice" judge posted a picture of their hands, with a substantial rock on her finger and wrote, "He asked me and I said yes..."
It appears the proposal took place in a tropical place as the background shows palm trees and a beautiful beach.
The couple met on the set of the 2010 movie "Burlesque" in which Aguilera starred opposite Cher and Rutler was a film assistant. They live in a Mulholland Estates mansion that she purchased for $10 million last year.
This will be the "Beautiful" singer's second marriage. Her first was to music executive Jordan Bratman with whom she has a six-year-old son Max. Their divorce was finalized on Valentine's Day three years ago.
