Taylor Swift Recalls Her Geekier Years, Tries Her Hand at Comedy

It always seems like the biggest celebrities feel obligated to mention that they were huge nerds in high school, or that they had acne during puberty, or that they never got dates. So now, it's Taylor Swift's turn.

Despite being absolutely covered in boyfriends over the past few years, the 24-year-old songstress claims she wasn't always so desirable — as a friend or a girlfriend. "I started writing songs because I wasn’t invited to parties and sleep-overs; I wasn’t noticed by the guy I like," Swift was quoted as saying during an interview on her "Red" tour. "It’s okay to let that go," she added, although we're sure it's easier to "let that go" when you become world-famous at 17 and leave those jerky friends behind.

It's probably this attitude that gives Swift the courage to venture into new avenues of entertainment, inluding the realm of comedy, which she entered on Friday via Instagram.

Posted along with a caption reading, "About to fly to Berlin. Just relaxing on this comfortable couch at the airport," Swift uploaded a video of herself struggling to get comfortable on a less-than-Swift-sized piece of perfectly functional airport furniture:

She could try sitting on it like a normal person, is all we're saying.
