News of Philip Seymour Hoffman's sudden death Sunday shook the film world, and many of the actor's colleagues, friends and co-stars took to Twitter to express their grief.

Philip Seymour Hoffman found dead in NYC apartment

The star of films including Catching FireCapote and The Talented Mr. Ripley was found dead in his Manhattan apartment on Sunday. A cause of death has not been released.
