In a candid chat with Reddit users on Tuesday, "Gravity" actor George Clooney revealed the reason (reasons?) he still shudders to think of his 1997 turn as Batman in "Batman & Robin."
"Well, I wasn't thrilled about the nipples on the Batsuit," said Clooney in a response to a question about his most embarrassing role. "You know, that's not something you really think about when you're putting it on. You figure all Batsuits have nipples and then you realize yours was really the first. Batman was just constantly cold I guess."
The actor also made several other notable remarks during his Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) session, including his thoughts on co-star Sandra Bullock ("Very smart and centered, even though she does drink a lot"), his favorite sandwich (ham, avocado and cole slaw) and his most awkward talk-show appearance ("The Merv Griffin Show").
"I was on in 1985 which is pretty odd, and they youtubed it and I come out in this horrible yellow shirt and yellow socks and a mullet," he says.
But hey, it could have been worse. At least there weren't nipples on that horrible yellow shirt.
