Rita Moreno's Lifetime Achievement Award quickly became an even bigger deal when the iconic actress took the stage at the 20th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. After her triumphant arrival to the microphone, the 82-year-old legend immediately dropped the f-bomb!
“I am so f***ing thrilled,” Rita exclaimed after doing a victory lap around her award. She then added, “I hope the man with the [censor] button was there.”
Fortunately for Rita, “the man with the button” was, in fact, there to catch her unscripted outburst. And don’t expect an apology statement from the "West Side Story" star.
“I’m sorry about that word … actually I’m not,” Rita later said, eliciting uproarious laughter from the crowd of actors.
Swearing aside, Rita really did make the most of her time on the SAG stage. She began by doing a bit from "The Electric Company" – the show whose soundtrack earned Rita a Grammy Award with Morgan Freeman, her former co-star.
She also gave sexy shout outs to Brad Pitt and Jeremy Renner during her rather lengthy acceptance speech, proving she’s still got it after all these years.
