Beyonce shops at Walmart!

Beyonce is just like us! The singing superstar got in some Christmas shopping with a trip to a Walmart store in Tewksbury, Mass on Friday, Dec. 20.

According to Us Weekly the 32-year-old singer spent the previous evening celebrating the release of her already bestselling fifth studio album with a Brooklyn show and an album release party. She then made the trek to Tewksbury and managed to pick up some toys for her 23-month-old daughter Blue Ivy.

The singer who pushed her own cart up and down the aisles even popped in a copy of “Beyonce” to buy. Physical copies of the CD went on sale that day, a week after its top secret iTunes release.

Beyonce showed off her maternal side by cuddling a baby girl and telling her, “You are beautiful,” which one person posted on Instagram video.

And Queen B got right into the Christmas spirit by addressing the crowd on the store’s loudspeaker. She also left them with something to cheer about. Each shopper received a $50 Walmart gift card courtesy of the songstress. They were enclosed in envelopes that read, “Happy Holidays from Beyonce.” 

In case you were wondering 750 cards were handed out which means Bey shelled out $37,500!
